2010 Annual Conference Steering Committee
Purpose: To coordinate logistics, sponsorships, marketing, program and speakers for the 2010 Annual Conference in Ft. Lauderdale.

Capital Formation Committee
Purpose: To identify the capital needs for Florida’s bioscience industry and recommend/implement new programs to recruit funds, assist companies with fundraising, etc.

Education & Workforce Committee
Purpose
: To recommend and initiate programs for member, community, and academic institute bioscience education. This Operates steering committee for the BioFlorida Institute.

Government Affairs Committee
Purpose
: To identify and recommend legislative and economic development priorities on a state and national level.

Membership Committee
Purpose
: To recommend programs and benefits to support BioFlorida's members, and to identify and recruit new members.

Nominating Committee
Purpose: To identify and recommend new BioFlorida director and committee candidates.

NETWORKS
Any number of BioFlorida member employees can join and participate in BioFlorida networks. Network chairs may change and/or set participation limits and qualifications as warranted. Network meetings and/or roundtable discussions are only for current BioFlorida members and not open to the public. It is important to understand that these networks are peer-to-peer networks and are not open to solicitations.
Emerging Leaders Network
Purpose: To identify and cultivate the next generation of emerging leaders in the industry. Network is limited to students and young professionals entering the bioscience industry.
Florida MedTech Network
Purpose: To identify issues specific to the medical device and technology and diagnostic markets.
Florida BioEnergy Network
Purpose: To identify issues specific to the biotech energy, environmental and industrial markets.
