Palm Beach County Company With Corporate Headquarters In Boca Raton Plans To Add 40 Jobs

National Healing Corporation - www.nationalhealing.com
(WEST PALM BEACH, FL)  A Palm Beach County healthcare company, with corporate headquarters in Boca Raton, will add 40 new employees after receiving local and state approval for plans to strengthen its local operations and expansion assistance from the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County.

National Healing Holding Corporation d.b.a. National Healing Corporation (NHC) provides management services and the latest technology and expertise in wound healing to client hospitals across the US. Currently, the company manages 152 wound healing centers in 32 states with 12 in Florida.  National Healing Corporation has been awarded The Joint Commission Disease-Specific Care Certification for wound care.

Project Overview:
The company has recently acquired and is planning to relocate from outside of Florida an existing medical supply business which provides wound care products. The proposed expansion would create 40 jobs with average salaries of more than $58,000 and represent an increase of its current workforce by 49 percent. The plan would also result in a 6,000 square-foot expansion of NHC's current headquarters. The Business Development Board assisted NHC with its expansion needs.

Incentives:
National Healing Corporation received approval from the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners on April 20, 2010 for a $24,000 grant. The money is the 20 percent local matching funds requirement for the state's Qualified Target Industry Tax Refund Program (QTI). The total application has been approved by Enterprise Florida, Inc. and the Governor's Office of Tourism, Trade and Economic Development (OTTED). The company has applied for a $120,000 tax refund from the State's QTI program.

Business Development Board Assistance:
The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County worked with National Healing Holding Corporation and advised NHC on the resources and grants available to assist with training, recruitment and screening of new employees.
